The acanhi essentials are always mixed (not pure) with the acanhi dogoil (carrier oil) and applied to a dry coat (Step I acanhi skincare ritual). Compared to a wet coat, the active ingredients of the essentials (fatty acids, antioxidants, etc.) penetrate deeper and are better absorbed by the skin (lipophilic vs. hydrophilic).
This method of topical and natural oil-based skin care strengthens and protects the skin barrier, prevents moisture loss via evaporation and ensures that allergens, pathogens and toxins hardly penetrate the skin.
