The acanhi essentials are always mixed (not pure) with the acanhi dogoil (carrier oil) and applied to a dry coat (Step I acanhi skincare ritual). Compared to a wet coat, the active ingredients of the essentials (fatty acids, antioxidants, etc.) penetrate deeper and are better absorbed by the skin (lipophilic vs. hydrophilic).
